Cerdas Consulting is a boutique consultancy founded by Leigh Gregory, with a geographic focus on Northern Australia, Timor‑Leste, Indonesia and the Pacific. The principal team members between them have over 40 years of experience in international development, management, disaster risk management, community development and strategic communication.

Leigh Gregory
Leigh Gregory is a Disaster Management and Community Development Specialist with extensive experience across the Pacific, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, and Australia. He has supported Red Cross, IOM, UNICEF, the AHA Centre, and governments in the Pacific through DFAT’s Australia Assists Program. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Leigh brings deep expertise in humanitarian operations, policy development, GEDSI, and capacity building. He holds post‑graduate qualifications in Disaster & Emergency Management, Asian Studies, Development and Education, and has undertaken training in Civil Military Coordination and Humanitarian Practice.

Michael Lynch
Michael Lynch is a humanitarian and management specialist with over 25 years of experience in disaster risk management across the Asia-Pacific. He has led major recovery programs, including a $50 million Red Cross initiative in Indonesia, and now serves as Field Director for the FINCAPES Project in Indonesia, advancing climate adaptation and community resilience. Michael holds a Batchelor in Education and Post Graduate Qualifications in Science, Education and Management. He has undertaken substantial training in Humanitarian Practice.
